Foundation for Communities of Learning (FCL) is dedicated to creating nurturing spaces in communities where learning can flourish in an atmosphere of safety, affection, inquiry and mutual support. We do this through fostering the necessary leadership capacities among leaders of public learning systems that must cater to the underserved, communities where children spend the bulk of their time and civil society organizations who act as through leaders.

 

In 222, Foundation for Communities of Learning was the new name adopted by Durgadevi Charitable Trust which was registered as a public charitable trust in July 2002. Founded by U.S. based industrialist Mr. Sajjan Agarwal, the trust has implemented educational programs in Maharashtra and Rajasthan towards the goal to provide education to the underprivileged and deserving children in rural India.
